2005 Champions!

Congratulations to the Major Division 'Last Chance Glass, Inc.'  Mets who defeated the 'Charlie Vac's' Rockies two games to one, in a best of three championship series to claim the Major Division title.

The Mets who compiled the divisions best overall regular season record at 13-3 were nearly unstoppable in the second half to earn a berth in the finals.  The Mets were the Divisions best defensive team giving up only  3.3 runs per game.  The offense was no slouch either as the Mets tied for second in runs scored on the season.  Congratulations to Manager Carlos Alfaro and all the Mets Players and Coaches on a well played season.  

Hats off as well to Manager Orlando "Bobby" Hernandez and his Rockies who won the first half by compiling a 7-1 record and clinched the first half title in their final game, on a fine season and well played championship series.

Good Luck to the Mets who will represent Coconut Creek in the District 10 Strong team tournament beginning June 1st.  Congratulations to all our Major Division Players and coaches on a well played and exciting season.  In a new development this year the rest of the division played a single elimination tournament to determine 3rd place, check below for the tournament results.

Junior Division Family Dentistry

2005 Champions!

Congratulations to the Family Dentistry' Mets  who won the Junior Division Championship over the 'Butterflybuilder.com' Cubs.   The Mets the Divisions 1st half Champions defeated the 2nd half Champion Cubs  2-0 in a best of three Championship series to claim the Junior Division title.  The Mets continued the strong play that led them to the best overall record in the Junior Division this season.   Hats off to Manager Bob Buckley and all the Mets players and coaches on a fine job.   Congratulations to Manager Nick Abatecola and his Cubs for an amazing worst-to -first second half comeback,  to reach the Championship game

Minor Division Publix Super Markets
 

2005 Champions!

The  'Publix Super Market' Cubs capped a terrific  14-1-1 season with a win over the 'A Sign on Time' Marlins, in the Minor 10 Division  Double Elimination Tournament.  The Marlins ploughed through a tough tournament road and never quit as they fought there way out of the losers bracket to reach the Finals.  They liked there chances as the only blemishes on the Cubs record this year came at the hands of the Marlins.  The Cubs would have none of that as they finished undefeated in tournament play.

 

Congratulations to Manager Bob Privitare and all the Cubs players and coaches on a terrific season. Hats off to Manager Mike Montag and his Marlins for a terrific showing in the tournament and during the season.

Minor - 9 Original Steakhouse & Sports Theatre



2005 Champions!

The 'Original Steakhouse and Sports Theatre'  Marlins completed a dramatic comeback in the Minor-9 Division Championship Tournament as they advanced from the Losers bracket to complete a two game sweep over the 'A.C.R. Fittings and Valves' Red Sox and captured the Division Title with a 9-5 victory.  The Marlins had suffered their only tournament loss to those same Red sox earlier in the tournament.

Congratulations to Marlins Manager Todd Ritornato and all of the Marlins players and coaches on a terrific season and Tournament.  Hats off as well to Manager Keith Rohloff and his Red Sox for a well played tournament and a successful season.

Major Division Softball
Above All Pressure Cleaning

2005 Champions!

Congratulations to the Above All Pressure Cleaning Green Hornets who captured the Girl's Softball Major Division 2nd Half Championship with a 6-2 record. Hat’s off to Manager Debbie Garcia and all the Hornet’s players and coaches on a fine job. The Hornets were also the Champions of the 1st half and therefore are Coconut Creek's 2005 Major Division Girl's Softball League Champions. The Green Hornets compiled an impressive 13-3 record on the season. Great Job Girls!

Congratulations to all our Major, Minor, Junior and Coach Pitch Division Softball players on a fine season and our biggest Softball turnout ever! Good Luck to all our strong team and All-Star representatives in Softball tournament play.
