2008 Champions!

Congratulations to the Major Division Affordable Floor Covering, Inc. Marlins who won both Halves of the 2008 Major Division Season to claim the Division's Championship.   Power & Pitching made the 2008 Marlins a Dynamo compiling a 16-2 record and establishing themselves as one of the League's most dominant teams.  Congratulations to Manager Rich Weldy and all the Marlins Players and coaches on a terrific season.  Best of luck to the Marlins who will represent Coconut Creek in the district 10 Strong Team Tournament.

Dairy Queen of Winston Park

2008 Champions!

Congratulations to the Dairy Queen of Winston Park Mets who defeated the JB's Blue Water Grill Red Sox to capture the 2008 Junior Division Championship. The Mets behind the strong pitching of Zak M'sahal and Nick Sposa and bat of Ricky Musumeci battled in a competitive Junior Division in which both halves were decided in the last game of the half.  The 2nd half Championship was decided in a special playoff in which the Red Sox beat the Mets to force a Championship Series.  The Mets took control in the Championship sweeping the series to claim the League Title.  Hats off to Manager Rick Musumeci and all the Mets players and coaches on a fine job and a terrific season.  Congratulations as well to Manager Carlos Alfaro and all the Red Sox players and coaches on a well played season.  Best of luck to the Mets who will be representing Coconut Creek in the District 10 Strong Team Tournament.

National Safety Council


2008 Champions!

The Minor Division national Safety Council Mets got hot at the right time.  The tournament's 3rd seed, the Mets played like Champions from the start going undefeated in the Minor Division Tournament.  The Mets sealed their championship by defeating the The Keefe, McCullough & Co. L.L.P. Marlins in a marathon seven inning championship game that took two days to complete.
Congratulations to Manager Jim Phelps and all the Mets Players and coaches on a terrific season.  Great Job by Manager Lou Prieotto and the Marlins on a terrific tournament and season as well.

Stonegate Bank



2008 Champions!

The Stonegate Bank Mets looked unstoppable in the regular season compiling an impressive 14-1 record and looked unstoppable as the entered the Minor 9 Tournament, but when the Gotrock's Coconut Grill Yankees upset them in the second game of the tournament the found their championship dreams in Jeopardy.  The Mets would regroup and finish strong winning the rest of their tournament games and defeating the Yankees in two straight games to claim the Minor-9 Division Championship. 

Hats off to Mets Manager John Kuhn and all of the Mets players and coaches on a terrific season and tournament.  Congratulations as well to Manager Scott Gillen and his yankees and all our Minor-9 Division players & Coaches on a fine season and a well played tournament!

2008 Champions!

Congratulations to the Crown Trophy Eliminators  who captured the Girl's Softball Major Division Championship by winning the Divisions single elimination tournament. Hat’s off to Manager Tammy Ward and all the Eliminator's players and coaches on a fine job.
The Eliminators defeated  the Painting Plus Pink Panthers to become Coconut Creek's 2008 Major Division Girl's Softball League Champions.

Congratulations to the Sunkissed Tanning Salon Black Reign who captured the Girl's Softball Junior Division Championship by winning the season series against the D.M.S.&S. Lady Tornadoes.
