Coconut Creek Little League to Hold 2010 Executive Board Elections.
Coconut Creek Little League will hold elections for it's 2010 Executive Board on Saturday, May 30, 2008, at Sabal Pines Park Park during it's Year End Picnic.  All 2009 registered League members will be eligible to vote (members= managers, coaches, team Moms, umpires and administrators) for the eight members of The league's Executive Board of Directors who will run the operations of the league for the 2009 Season.  The following positions will be elected for the 2010 season:

The Elected Executive Board will appoint the 2010 Board members from a listing of eligible candidates.  If you would like to be nominated or nominate someone for a future appointed board position.  Please download the form below and return to the league by September 1, 2009.

                   Coconut Creek Hawks Travel Baseball

The Coconut Creek Hawk's Travel program begins it's 2nd year.  These highly competitive Travel teams will play in the spring and fall against other local travel baseball teams and in various tournaments throughout the state.  The Hawks will field teams in all age divisions. Roster spots on these teams are filled based on ability, attitude and experience and interested players ages 8-16 must attend team tryouts.to be considered for a position.  The Hawks program is at www.eteamz.com/coconutcreekhawks 

 

 
Tom Greco Memorial Tree Dedication.

The City of Coconut Creek and Coconut Creek Little League will honor the memory of league volunteer Tom Greco who was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident on October, 8th, 2005.  Tom was a member of our Board of Directors and had been a volunteer in our program for several years.  Tom was very active as an Umpire and as a volunteer in the football program as well.

A tree has been planted at Sabal Pines Park on the visitors side of Field #1.  The Tree and a plaque commemorating Tom's service to the community will be dedicated on Saturday, May 31, 2008 during the league's Year End Picnic.  The Dedication Ceremony will begin at 12:00 pm.

Little League Child Protection Program
The City Of Coconut Creek and Little League Baseball will require National Background Checks for all League Managers, Coaches, Team Moms, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players or teams.

Please Remember, No Hit -Toss is allowed on any park fencing

Soft-Toss Nets installed at Sabal Pines Park.
The City has installed four new Soft toss nets at the City's premier park: Sabal Pines.  These new nets will help Coaches get the most from their practices.  Please always use extreme caution and insure no pedestrians are in danger while using the nets.  Lakeside Park, Gerber park and Hosford Park all have had soft toss nets previously installed.
