| For over 30 years, Summer
Camp at St. Petersburg has provided the ideal
opportunity for youngsters to sharpen baseball
skills while enjoying many other recreational
and social activities.
Throughout its years of operation, the St.
Petersburg Summer Camp complex has become the
favorite training site for numerous northern
college baseball teams that utilize the modern
facilities including Arnold White Memorial
Stadium, fully equipped dressing rooms, meeting
rooms and modern fields. With an emphasis on
fundamentals, sportsmanship and just plain fun,
youngsters learn baseball as the game should be
played. Each one - week comprehensive program
challenges campers to improve batting and
individual skills, experiment at new positions,
and gain actual game experience as part of a
camp team. Achievement awards recognizing
baseball and other recreational skills are
presented at the conclusion of camp. With
activities including swimming, basketball,
ping-pong and more, the St. Petersburg Summer
Camp provides a well-rounded, total camp
experience. Youngsters are also encouraged to
develop their self confidence and leadership
skills amid newfound friends.
