Volunteer Of the Year
Congratulations Mark Ripoll, 2009
Volunteer of the Year.
Coconut
Creek Little League his pleased to honor Mark Ripoll as it's 2009
Volunteer of the Year. Mark is Coconut Creek's first two time
winner of this award, garnering the honors in 2005 as well.
As you can see from the photo below not much has changed with Mark
including his commitment to the league and the youth of Coconut
Creek. Mark was a regular at Sabal Pines park during the 2009
season, Umpiring over 40 games, helping breakdown concessions and
doing whatever was needed to make the 2009 season a success.
Mark is also the League's Player Agent and does a fantastic job
handling all player issues and resolving them quickly. Mark's
Encyclopedic knowledge of the Little League Rule Book is legendary
and he is always sought out for advice on baseball issues.
Congratulations Joe Porcelli, 2008
Volunteer of the Year
Coconut
Creek Little League is pleased to award Joe Porcelli it's 2008
Volunteer of the Year Award.
Nobody has a tougher
job than Umpire Scheduler, filling all the League’s games with
100% volunteer umpires takes plenty of work, negotiating skills and
persistence. Joe has helped make Coconut Creeks umpires the envy of
District 10. Organizing training and clinics, making sure the
umpire cart gets out and beating the bushes for new umpires. Joe is
truly deserving of this honor.
