As a parent of a child participating in the CCLLB Program, your conduct is seen not only by your child, but also by all those who participate in the program. The Board of Directors has outlined the following rules and standards of conduct to which all parents and friends must adhere to make this an enjoyable season for all.
Spectators Viewing Area ·
All spectators shall be seated
in the stands located on the side of the field of theirs team's
dugout. ·
No spectators will be allowed to
sit inside the dugout unless he/she is a manager or coach. An exception is made for the
T-Ball and Coach Pitch Divisions to allow Team Moms in the dugout
as well. · No spectators will be allowed to view the game from behind the backstop directly behind home plate. This is a distraction to the players.
Verbal Abuse · Spectators will refrain from shouting at umpires. We follow the Zero Tolerance Policy
·
Spectators will refrain from
jeering or taunting players, coaches or opposing teams
parents. · Profanity is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.
Responsibilities of Parents
(Games and Practices) ·
Parents will make every effort
to bring their children to all scheduled practices and games on
time. ·
Parents will be required to stay
at the field during their childs practice or game. NO EXCEPTIONS! ·
Parents and friends should be
cheering words of encouragement to all players regardless of what
team the play for. ·
Parents should contact manager
or coaches if any practices or games are to be missed prior to
the event as soon as possible. ·
Alcohol and Drugs are Strictly
Prohibited ·
At no time shall any person be
under the influence of alcohol or drugs at any league functions. As a parent/guardian in the CCLLB
program, you should agree to abide by the rules and standards set
forth above. Understanding
that you will be responsible for your family and friends
behavior. Also understand
failure to do so will result in the removal from the field area. By not cooperating, the Board
of Directors reserves the right to remove your child from the
league. Weve all been
through the PAYs program. We
all know wrong from right. Lets
make this a great baseball season! Finally, dont expect the majority of children playing Little League baseball to have strong skills. We hear all our lives that we learn from our mistakes. Lets allow them to make their mistakes, but always be there with positive support to lift their spirits!
